Houghton Hall

Houghton Hall is the centre of a thriving estate, reflecting the ups and downs of nearly 300 years of history. Built by Sir Robert Walpole, Britain's first prime minister, it is one of the finest Palladian Mansions in England. It has a very special, unspoilt atmosphere with its herd of white fallow deer in the park. Magnificently furnished staterooms, walled garden, 20,000 model soldier collection, restaurant, gift shop, picnic and play area.
