Social Club
Southrepps Social Club
The Lower Street Social Club is available for use by the surrounding community. Carpet bowls, snooker and bingo are played and it has a very successful bowls team. There are individual special events held both during the day and in the evening. The Club's Summer Fete is a regular event on the Southrepps calendar.
The club was originally formed out of two cottages given to the men of the village by the local schoolteacher before the war. The Men's Club fell into disuse in the early 1980's and an application was made to knock it down, since part was deemed unsafe. This spurred the villagers into action, a committee was formed to raise money and resurrect the Club as a Social Club for all. There is a marvellous billiards table still remaining in the room from the old days.
