How to find the Fishermen's Heritage Centre and Peter Coke Shell Gallery

Most visitors who arrive by car choose to park in the Station Car Park near the roundabout on the A149. Everyone who arrives by public transport will also find themselves close to this location.

Make your way the short distance down Station Road towards the sea, pass the distinctive Town Clock and continue down High Street. On reaching the pedestrian-only passageway just before the first of the amusement arcades on the left, turn along it into West Cliff and the Shell Gallery is further along on the right.

The entrance to the Fishermen's Heritage Centre is on the other side (the seaward side) of the building to the Shell Gallery, at the top of the slope where fishing boats are tied up. Alternatively, continue to the end of the High Street, turn left past the Two Lifeboats Hotel and continue along the promenade until you reach the Fishermen's Heritage Centre.

There is also a car park in Morris Street which involves even less walking. If parking there continue in the same direction on foot and turn left into West Cliff.
