Planning Committees
The East and West Development Control Committees at North Norfolk District Council decide planning applications.
If either area Committee wishes to make a decision which would be a significant departure from the Development Plan or would have major implications for planning policy, the application is deferred to be considered at the next meeting of the Committee. Members of the other area Committee are invited to the meeting to take part in the decision-making (the Combined Committee). Occasionally a Combined Committee meeting will be called to discuss other matters related to the planning process. The documents for these meetings can be found on the East or West Development Control Committee pages.
On each of the Development Control Committee pages below, you will find a link to the names of committee members, and a list of imminent or recent meeting dates. Click on the dates for the documents relating to those meetings.
