F20 Schedule 7 - Article 4 Directions
Local Planning Authorities have the power under Article 4 of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) Order 1995, as amended, to make Directions restricting permitted development rights where it is considered appropriate. There are a variety of reasons for making such Directions, but generally they are only made in exceptional circumstances where the local planning authority wishes to retain control over potential development.
