- A register of telephone masts used for mobile networks is maintained by North Norfolk District Council's Planning Department and can be viewed at the Council's Offices in Cromer.
- Ofcom is the communications regulator operating under the Communications Act 2003. It regulates the TV and radio sectors, fixed line telecoms and mobiles, plus the airwaves over which wireless devices operate.
- Information about the operators standard format and scale for network plans may also be of interest and these can be found on the Mobile Operators Association website.
- A Code of best practice for Mobile Phone Network Development is published by the Department of Communities and Local Government.
