The Government requires that all Housing Sub-markets undertake a Strategic Housing Market Assessment in order to inform planning documents by better understanding how the local housing markets operate.
North Norfolk District is part of the Rural East Anglia Partnership Housing Sub-market along with Breckland District Council and Kings Lynn and West Norfolk Borough Council. A Housing Needs Study has also been undertaken for North Norfolk to assess housing need across all tenures.
Fordham Research was commissioned in September 2006 to undertake the studies and draft reports which were made available to the participating Councils in November 2006. The final drafts were completed in June 2007 and the final reports were completed in October 2007. These are available to view or download below:
