At the heart of the website, is the Joint Strategic Needs Assessment, an overall analysis of the health and wellbeing needs of the people of Norfolk. The JSNA utilises a wide range of the information included on the website, providing analysis of the information to assist in planning the most appropriate services for the future.

Most enquiries that we receive relate to information found in the Census. Here are some quick links to finding the information that you need:


The Office for National Statistics carries out a Country-wide Census every ten years. The last Census took place in 2001 and the results include social and economic details of residents and households for each of the District’s parishes. The full detail can be viewed and downloaded from the National Statistics website. A summary table showing the population of the District’s parishes is given in the link below.
