Site Allocations

This document identifes which sites should be developed in order to achieve the broad aims of the Core Strategy. It includes allocations for new housing, employment, retail and other development, together with other uses of land such as parks and open space.
An independent inspector considered the plan and approved it for use on 1 December 2010. The Council formally adopted the document at the Full Councill Committee on 23 February 2011.
The specific sites highlighted in the plan will require planning applications to be submitted before development commences.
A reference copy of the adopted Site Allocations Plan can be viewed at North Norfolk Libraries or the District Council's offices at Cromer and Fakenham. The Plan can be download free of charge or a paper copy may be purchased for £20.00 (inclusive of postage).
