LOST QUILT
Our trip to the Festival of Quilts was a very sad one. We queued with eager anticipation to see my quilt hung at such a grand show, only to have the weekend shattered by finding that it was not on display. It took the whole morning to find out that it had been lost. To date there is no trace of where it has gone. The disappointment was compounded by the way we were handled and this was only softened by the kindness of other quilting friends from Norfolk and the Quilters Guild.
So I am now asking that you all keep an eye out for my quilt as I would dearly like to get it back as it has a lot of personal memories and associations.
The quilt is called "Imagination:- The Road to Endless Diversity"
It is a 25 block Quilt-as you go" sampler quilt, with a Baltimore style border. It is a series of circular designs many of which are my own creation and show my "road" through may of the tecniques I have learnt in the last 4 Years. The black background makes it distinctive and a portrait of my Grand daughter and a pictorial block of Sherringham Park make it unique.
I would be over the moon if I could get it back so all help will be most gratefully received.
