The Sustainable Community Strategy 2008-2011 aims to deliver the Vision for North Norfolk


VISION for North Norfolk.
The vision for North Norfolk is of a place where everyone can enjoy a high quality of life and where the unique and attractive environment is sustained into the future.


It is a place:

  • Where people feel safe and live in decent homes.
  • Where people have diverse careers and training opportunities and jobs which add value.
  • Where residents choose healthy lifestyles in sustainable communities and can access a wide range of activities to meet everyone's needs.
  • Where the environment is protected and where the identity and special character of the area is retained

From this vision, the top 3 overarching priorities will provide the focus for the partnership activity:

  1. Improving housing
  2. Good jobs with prospects
  3. A nice place to live, work and visit.
