Reminder: New Opening Hours29 November, 2005North Norfolk District Council's Revenues and Benefits section opens later on Wednesday mornings from 7 December, 2005, to allow weekly staff training sessions. From next Wednesday, and every Wednesday thereafter, the benefits, council tax and business rates offices at the Council's Holt Road headquarters and North Lodge in Cromer will not be open for visits in person or telephone calls until 10am. The new staff training is aimed at improving working practices and performance for the sake of customers. It is part of a plan to improve the department in line with Government standards. The new opening hours for telephone inquiries and personal visits are: A Benefit Fraud Inspectorate report this summer concluded that NNDC's housing and council tax benefits administration service was 'Fair', but with room for improvement across the whole service.
