Nelson and Trafalgar 200th Anniversary Events

Join our Trafalgar weekend event at Holt Country Park tomorrow (Saturday, 22 October)!

NNDC, in partnership with Holt Town Council and with the help of visitors, will plant 27 young (6-8ft) oak trees at the park - one for every English ship at Trafalgar, and each bearing the name of one of the ships. They will be planted in two lines, representing the English formation during the battle.

The event, which is due to be attended by North Norfolk MP Norman Lamb, starts at the visitors' centre at 10am.

The public are welcome and admission is free (though there is a charge for parking).
