DC Leisure to Run North Norfolk's Sports and Swimming Complexes

North Norfolk District Council has now agreed to award the leisure management contract for The Splash Leisure Complex in Sheringham, the new Fakenham Sports and Community Centre and the North Walsham Swimming Pool, which is due to open later this year, to DC Leisure Management Ltd.

The leisure management contract for the three centres was originally to be awarded to Aquaterra Leisure, a London-based company. However, earlier this month Aquaterra informed the District Council that it was unable to proceed with the contract without major revisions to the original bid that it submitted during the tender process last year.

DC Leisure, which came second in that process, has managed The Splash in Sheringham for several years.
