2003 Environment Awards Winners![]() Copyright NNDC North Norfolk's greenest projects have been recognised with Environment Awards at a ceremony on Tuesday, 8 July. The awards recognise the projects that have contributed most over the last year to the preservation and enhancement of the North Norfolk environment. The District Council-run scheme has been running since 1994. The awards were presented by Cyril Durrant, Chairman of North Norfolk District Council, at a ceremony at 2.30pm at Pensthorpe Waterfowl Park, near Fakenham. The Environment Awards are given in five categories: Schools, Community Groups, Green Buildings, Small Businesses and Large Businesses. This year's prize-winners are as follows: SCHOOLS - Category supported by the Dereham and Fakenham Times and North Norfolk News
COMMUNITY GROUPS
GREEN BUILDINGS - NB. Joint winners, no runner-up. The judges felt the two winners were "equally deserving".
