Graham Allen Award 20029 September 2002The 21st Graham Allen Award for Conservation and Design in North Norfolk will be presented on Thursday (12 September). The Award has been given annually since its inauguration in 1982 as a memorial to the late Graham Allen, the first Chairman of North Norfolk District Council. It recognises excellence in conservation and design - whether in listed, unlisted or new buildings - and is presented to the scheme which, in the judges' opinion, has contributed most to the conservation of North Norfolk's unique architectural heritage. The media are welcome to attend the presentation, which will take place at 12.45pm on Thursday, 12 September in the Committee Room at NNDC's offices in Holt Road, Cromer. Twelve schemes have been entered for this year's Graham Allen Award. They are as follows:
