Location
The Museum is in a waterside setting at the Staithe in Stalham, sometimes called The Poor's Staithe.
It is on the opposite side of the main road (A149) from Stalham town centre and Tesco's, and is accessible by both footpath and road, taking the turning for Richardson's Boatyard and continuing 100 yards. There is parking available at Richardsons boat yard. Disabled parking at The Museum.
There are brown road signs on the A149 at Stalham giving directions to the Museum of the Broads.
Buses run from the following locations: Norwich, Wroxham, Mundesley, North Walsham, Cromer and Yarmouth/Caister. Please phone Traveline on 0870 608 2608 or visit their website at www.travelineeastanglia.org.uk/ to get details of travel times.
You can also arrive at the Museum by boat, taking the River Ant north from Barton Broad and going right at the first fork (Stalham and Sutton) and left at the second fork (Stalham). As you approach the Museum, Richardson's Boatyard is on your right, where you can moor up and walk to The Museum.
Opening hoursThe Museum is open 10.30 - 17.00 seven days a week. The Museum is open from just before Easter until the end of October.
If we are closed for the winter. Please visit us next year when we reopen just before Easter.

Adult £4.00
Child £3.50 (up to 15 yrs) under 5 free.
Concession £3.50
Family £10.00 (2 adults +2 children)
Trips on steam launch "Falcon" Adult £3.50. Child £2.50 On the hour 11am - 3pm. Conditions permitting. Please telephone if travelling a distance to check availability and book seats.
Group rates for admission and shorter river trips are available, by prior booking. Please telephone The Museum 01692 581681 or e-mail details of your group requirements to info@museumoftnebroads.co.uk . Tel bookings will require confirmation in writing by post or e-mail.
We can sometimes accommodate groups out of hours by prior arrangement.
Friends of the Museum subscription includes free entry to the museum during the year.
