Bench Donated in Commemoration of Ennis Pearson
12 August 2004

The new bench
The family of Ennis Pearson have generously presented a bench in his memory to the Museum. Chair of Trustees Pamela Masters accepted the bench on behalf of the Museum on Monday 26th July 2004.
Enid Baker, the Museum's Administrator remembers meeting Mr. Pearson about three years ago when he visited the Museum. The cruiser 'Water Rail' was moored outside and he was delighted to be told that she was formerly 'Delight' as he remembered spending a very happy holiday on 'Delight' in the 1930s.
The bench provides visitors with the chance to sit in the sun and enjoy the craft and wildlife on the water at Stalham Staithe.
