The Big Appeal
Hello,
I am writing to you as Chairman of the Museum of the Broads to tell you about a major appeal that we are launching to buy the museum's home at Stalham.
Over the coming year, we aim to raise £125,000 to buy the riverside buildings and waterfront that house our displays and collections. The museum moved to Stalham in 2000 and has established itself there quickly.
With 8,000 visitors in 2007 and new projects and partnerships in the offing, we're entering an exciting period in the museum's development. Securing the Stalham site as a permanent home is now essential to the museum's sustainability and future development.
We are turning to the generosity of individuals, charitable trusts and businesses to help us in this appeal. Please take a look at the enclosed fact sheet and donor information. If you would like to help, please complete the donation form and return it with your cheque.
You can also contact me direct on 01692 631181 and I will be happy to give you more information or to discuss options. This is a unique opportunity to help secure a long-term future for this important museum - the only museum to tell the unique story of the Broads. I hope very much you will wish to support our appeal.
Yours sincerely
Pamela Masters Chairman of The Trustees
