A Brief Outline of the Village of Ludham

Origins of the name

Ludham is a chocolate box village set in the heart of the Norfolk Broads.

The name Ludham is thought to have come from the Saxon, where Luda's Ham means Luda's Village. Early references to Ludham can be found in the Domesday Book. (Details in the church leaflet).
The village sign show its connections with King Canute (right).
