We are a team of volunteers who started by making a textile parish map. This snowballed into scanning old photos into a community computer database, taping people's memories and arranging historical walks. We use funding from Awards for All (Lottery), NNDC (Environment Award), Broads and Rivers Leader Plus (Community Chest), plus what we raise ourselves, to gather together as much of the history of the village as we can and present it to the local people.

We meet fortnightly on alternate Wednesday evenings 7-9pm in the Sloper Room at the Methodist Church, Ludham. We bring the computer to these meetings to share and update our information. A textile workshop runs simultaneously.

We make some of these meetings more structured for the collection of spoken memories, old photographs etc. Once someone starts talking, it's amazing how it jogs other people's memories! Sometimes we have guest speakers, but our meetings are quite informal. All are welcome.
