THEATRE IS… a producer, a commissioner and a curator of theatre for, with and by young people.
Our mission is to research, develop and produce the best possible performing arts for the young people of the East of England aged 25 and under.
In placing young people at the heart of our organization we respect them as consumers and makers of theatre. We will therefore, pioneer new ways of making theatre for young people empowering them to become the cultural leaders of the future. We will do this by:

What is the Arts Award Welcome scheme?
Arts Award Welcome is a badge scheme which announces that an arts or cultural organisation offers activities which may help young people to achieve their Arts Award.
Young people must work directly with artists and art organisations - including taking part, attending and reviewing live arts events, and researching and working alongside arts professionals.
The Arts Award Welcome scheme helps organisations to market appropriate programmes, events, activities, services or resources directly to those supporting young people doing their awards - ranging from schools, colleges and youth centres, to other arts organisations and independent advisers.
Arts Award Welcome organisations can display the Arts Award Welcome logo and information on their marketing materials and website, are featured on the Arts Award website and included in regional listings, promotional / brokering activities.
Arts Award Welcome organisations have access to contact details for Arts Award centres in their area, and are kept up to date with news, opportunities, and developments.
