FOLK - Stone Angel
Friday 6th May - at 7.30pm

presented by Stone Angel
Stone Angel re-formed to record their CD East of the Sun. A track from this album features on a new National Trust folk compilation CD alongside artists such as Steeleye Span and Ralph McTell. More recently, they have released another new CD Lonely Waters (Kissing Spell KSCD 951). As well as their own compositions they perform largely East Anglian traditional folk music, interpreted with diverse influences from early music, through baroque and jazz, to rock.
The current line-up consists of Dave Felmingham (keyboards), Andrew Smith (electric guitars), Geoff Hurrell (bass guitar), Jane Denny (backing vocals and percussion), plus original members Ken and Joan Saul who handle most of the lead vocals while playing an array of instruments including dulcimer, cittern, flute and crumhorn.
Tickets o Full £5.00 o Concs £4.00
