ASSOCIATED AMATEUR GROUPS
our main aim is to entertain our audiences with a wide range of dramatic performances, whether it is a farce or something more challenging and thought-provoking. The Little Theatre provides an ideal venue and we regard it as our 'home'. We are always keen to welcome new members, whether on stage or behind the scenes, or both! The Society promotes the performance of amateur musical theatre and plays in the local area. Formed in 1914, the Society now has 80+ active members involved in its varying productions during the year. The Society is proud of its support for local charities from the proceeds of its shows. - sheringham savoyards
The Sheringham Savoyards were formed in 1979, since when we have presented one Gilbert and Sullivan opera as our main show in June, and in the Autumn our productions have ranged from concert versions of Gilbert and Sullivan favourites, to shows such as Toad of Toad Hall and Follow The Star.
