A retired teacher of photography, I now undertake commercial commissions and produce personal work largely based on landscape themes. I enjoy investigating intimate details as well as creating a personal response to the environment. My work employs digital, conventional darkroom, and sun printing techniques.

The exhibition will be a mixture of oil and acrylic paintings on canvas and board, prints and drawings, all of the coast. I also adore life drawing.

Norfolk Coast Light &0Life - Karen Rowlands
Oil paintings of the Norfolk Coast; the landscape, the people and the wildlife. Detailed paintings of a variety of subjects each painted with a fascination for the play of light, enjoyment of the richness and vitality of colour in enhancing the atmosphere and a desire to bring each subject to life.

Would you like to exhibit your work at the Little Theatre?
Sheringham Little Theatre welcomes proposals from artists who are seeking a public venue for their work. Exhibitions in the theatre run for each calendar month, and are programmed six to twelve months in advance.
The next visual arts selection committee meeting will be on Monday 1st September 2008 when the spring 2009 programme will be chosen.
Solo and group exhibition dates are available.
