AMATEUR THEATRE "The Wind in the Willows"
Tuesday 1st to Saturday 5th April 2008 - 7.00pm

Presented by Sheringham Little Theatre Drama Groups
Kenneth Grahame's classic story has been wittily adapted for the stage by national treasure and playwright, Alan Bennett.
The adaptation allows young people an opportunity to perform as an ensemble cast whilst showcasing their individual talents. The Little Theatre Youth Groups from North Walsham and Sheringham take on the challenge of bringing this delightful piece to the stage.
It's Springtime and Mole and Ratty meet Toad, a creature with an obsession with driving motor cars which results in him being sent to jail. Toad escapes and evades the police in a thrilling railway chase and then hitches a ride on a barge. He rejoins Ratty, Mole and Badger only to discover Toad Hall has been overrun by stoats and weasels.
A terrific battle ensues and, with the help of Mole's new found courage, the foursome triumph.
Suitable for ages 3+
Tickets £6.50 (under 16s £5.00)
