28/09/09 - Public Consultation: Conversion & Re-use of Rural Buildings as Dwellings Draft Policy (2 October - 13 November)

Public Consultation

The LDF Working Party considered the results of the initial consultation and the officers recommendations at its meeting on 20 July. A Draft Policy for the Conversion & Re-use of Rural Buildings as Dwellings has now been prepared and will be available for Public Consultation from 2 October to 13 November 2009.
The Draft Policy and supporting documents will be available from North Norfolk District Council Offices in Cromer & Fakenham from 2 October, to view in all local libraries, and are already available on the LDF Website. Please visit the Public Consultation Page for further details.

Submitting your comments
Comments should be made via the Council's Consultation website at http://consult.north-norfolk.gov.uk/portal but may also be submitted in writing using the appropriate comments form. The forms are available to download from our website or these can be posted to you on request - Tel 01263 516318.

Comments must be received no later than 4.30pm on Friday 13 November 2009.

The Council would like to thank all those who responded to the public consultation concerning the re-use of rural buildings as dwellings. Between 1 June and 26 June we received 131 completed questionnaires covering the range of issues and options on what format the new policy should take.
