24/09/08 - Council Adopts the Core Strategy

North Norfolk Core Strategy

North Norfolk District Council formally adopted the Core Strategy (incorporating Development Control Policies) at its Full Council Committee meeting on 24th September 2008. The Core Strategy is the new Development Plan for the District and replaces the Local Plan.
The document outlines the vision, objectives and a Spatial Strategy indicating where, what and how much new development can take place in North Norfolk up until 2021. It also contains a range of Development Control policies for North Norfolk that will inform future planning decisions. All new development proposals should accord with the Core Strategy.
