
In response to the recent consultation on the North Norfolk Submission Core Strategy and Proposals Map, a number of individuals and organisations put forward their ideas for additional land allocations (areas of land set aside for specific long-term uses such as open land areas, employment areas, car parks, town centres etc) and suggested boundary amendments. These representations themselves are now subject to a six-week period of consultation to allow the public and other bodies to put forward their views.
Two types of changes have been sought:
These proposed changes will be sent to the Planning Inspector, Mr Philip Goodman, who will consider them at the public Examination into the Core Strategy in December 2007, along with all other representations received on the submission Core Strategy. The Inspector may make alterations to the Core Strategy as a result of these suggestions.
