Site Specific Proposals
The Site Specific Proposals Draft Plan was formally submitted to the Secretary of State on 5 March 2010. An independent Planning Inspector, Paul Dobsen, has been appointed by the Planning Inspectorate to conduct an Examination to decide whether the plan can be adopted for use by the Council.
A Draft Policy for the Conversion & Re-use of Rural Buildings as Dwellings was also submitted for examination. The examination process for both documents is in the advanced stages now with the Inspectors Report due for submission in November/December.

Schedule of Key Changes / Schedule of Minor Modifications
The Council has produced two supplementary documents containing minor and key changes that the Council would like included in the final Site Allocations Plan. These suggested amendments take into account comments received during the Draft Plan consultation in June/July 2009 and the Key Changes consultation in January/February 2010. These documents have been forwarded to the Inspector and it is for him to decide which changes can or cannot be made. All representations submitted during the consultations have been provided to the Inspector for his consideration.
