Core Strategy (incorporating Development Control policies)
The Core Strategy looks at key issues such as what housing and other land uses should be planned for, the role of settlements, how we can protect the environment and reduce the impacts of climate change.
The proposed changes were sent to the Planning Inspector, Mr Philip Goodman, who will consider them at the public Examination into the Core Strategy in December 2007, along with all other representations received on the submission Core Strategy. The Inspector may make alterations to the Core Strategy as a result of these suggestions. For further information on the Examination please visit the Examination page.
Consultation Details
The Site Allocation and Boundary Changes representations consultation took place from midday Monday 20 August to midday Monday 1 October 2007. Anyone had the opportunity to comment on the proposed Site Allocation and Boundary Changes in terms of whether they support or object to the proposals. Representations could only relate to the Site Allocation and Boundary Changes proposed during the submission consultation period and further alternatives or additional comments on the submission documents were not permitted.
