Proposals Map
The Proposals Map will show, on an ordnance survey based map, the sites identified for development based on a range of planning criteria.
Proposals Map
The Council will maintain an up-to-date Proposals Map which will illustrate all the policies set out in development plan documents on an ordnance base map. It must be revised as each new development plan document is adopted.
The proposals map can include:
- areas of landscape protection,
- locations and sites for particular land uses and developments
- transport, including roads, rail links and cycle paths
- housing, including densities and affordable housing
- open space and leisure uses
- employment and economic development
- environmental issues such as air quality, water, flooding and pollution
- minerals & waste sites
The North Norfolk Local Plan incorporates the currently adopted Proposals Map. A revised Proposals Map will be published for consultation alongside both the Core Strategy and Site Specific Proposals documents.
The revisions to the Proposals Map arising from the Submission Core Strategy Document were published for consultation alongside the Core Strategy from 18th June to 30th July 2007.
