Supplementary Planning Documents will expand on policies and provide detailed supporting information. These can be prepared as required.
Design Guide
The North Norfolk Design Guide has helped to shape built development across the District since it's first publication in 1974.
If the Core Strategy is adopted as anticipated in Autumn 2008, the current North Norfolk Design Guide will be replaced with a new Design Guide that will become a Supplementary Planning document under the new Local Development Framework.
The new Design Guide will provide further information and advice on how to achieve Core Strategy policies relating to design, sustainable construction, energy efficiency and the historic environment.
The draft Design Guide, a Sustainability Appraisal and Consultation Statement are now available for public consultation for a 6 week period which commenced on June 9th 2008.
