Mundesley and District Recreation Association - MADRA

Mundesley and District Recreation Association is a Registered Charity organisation providing playing fields for and a club house, in Hall Lane, Knapton. It was established for the local communities around Knapton, including Mundesley. There are 5 full sized football pithches available, at very good rates, and full floodlighting on the main pitch.

The committee meets regularly to discuss such items as booked functions, additions and improvements to the services provided, and the general day-to-day running of the club.

MADRA is for the use of all residents within the area. A very small annual membership fee is charged. The club house includes a well stocked bar supplied by Greene King, serving low priced beers and soft drinks. Real ale is always available. A pool table, dart board and bar football game are also available .

The club house is available for hire to any individuals or organisations who may wish to use the available facilities. For details email madra4u@btinternet.com

Various football teams use the sports facilities, including Mundesley FC, who use all of the club's five football pitches. We would also like to see other sports being held e.g. rugby, petanque and cricket. Again, contact the Chairman.
