Developing our Parish Plan
Our parish - and every other parish in England - is being invited to produce a Parish Plan. The Plan will be important because it will help to guide what happens in Kettlestone in the future - for example:-
- do we want more housing development or not?
- do we want tighter controls on traffic or not?
- do we want more, or less, local industry?
- how important is the local environment, and what could we do to make it better?
A well-attended public meeting held on 8th May 2006 led to the formation of the Parish Plan Committee. The Committee is supported by the Parish Council, but it is independent of it.
Chair of the Parish Plan Committee: David Harrison
Secretary: Marlene Hoad
