Funded by the Sport England and Age Concern, the “Time of your Life” mobile gym project visits rural areas in North Norfolk to deliver exercise and fitness sessions.
We are looking for a customer focussed, enthusiastic individual to join the team to drive and help manually set up the gym and assist in the delivery of sessions.
This unique project targets under represented groups in health and physical activity in line with objectives as set out in the White Paper – “Choosing Health”.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a practical understanding of the fitness/exercise/physical activity environment and fully meet the qualification standards set by DVLA for driving a vehicle up to 7.5 tonnes. There is also a requirement to work some evenings.

Up to £22,221 per annum (pro rata and subject to job evaluation)
We are looking to recruit a Programme Officer to provide general administrative and clerical support to the Independent Planning Inspector appointed to hold public examinations into North Norfolk District Council’s Local Development Framework.
Initially the post will be for two or three days per week increasing to five days during the formal examination sessions. The role will include providing day to day administrative support as directed by the Inspector, ensuring that all parties involved in the examination are kept up to date with the proceedings, maintaining and providing access to a document library, ensuring the Council’s website is kept up to date and making the practical arrangements for the examination sessions.
To be considered for this post the successful candidate must have had no direct involvement in the preparation of the Local Development Framework. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills, an ability to work with little supervision and experience in managing electronic data using Windows software packages.
