Mobile Gym Fitness Instructor (Ref 1885)

The "On the Road to Wellbeing" mobile gym visits rural areas in North Norfolk to deliver exercise and fitness sessions. Funding has been secured through the Age Concern "Fit As a Fiddle" programme as part of the Big Lottery Wellbeing programme to deliver our "Staying Nifty Over Fifty" project.

The project will deliver activity sessions targeted to attract people over 50 and will include a mix of daytime, evening and family orientated sessions. This unique project targets under represented groups in health and physical activity in line with objectives set out in the White Paper - 'Choosing Health'.

We are looking for a customer focused individual to join the team to drive and help manually set up the gym, and assist in the delivery of sessions. You must be able to demonstrate a practical understanding of the fitness / exercise / physical activity environment and fully meet the qualification standards set by DVLA for driving a vehicle which has a maximum authorised mass exceeding 3.5 tonnes.

Employment is subject to a satisfactory Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check.
