GreenBuild will be back at Felbrigg Hall in 2012, on the 8th and 9th of September, and we are now taking bookings from exhibitors. If you are a business or organisation who would be interested in exhibiting at GreenBuild, please contact Jeanette Wilson on 01263 516185 or jeanette.wilson@north-norfolk.gov.uk. The deadline for exhibitor booking forms is Friday 1st June.
Last year, North Norfolk District Council’s ever-popular GreenBuild event took place on 10th and 11th September 2011, and was once again a great success, continuing its reputation as the key event in the diary of anyone keen on following a greener lifestyle. Over 7,000 visitors came to the event which was held at The National Trust’s Felbrigg Park near Cromer. Click on the 'Gallery' link above for photos from the event.
Every year we aim to add new features. 2011's event included:
- New exhibitors – click on the ‘Exhibitors’ link for more details.
- KIER attended with 'Dumpy' the Environmental Education Vehicle!
- Mandarin Cycles carried out safety checks free of charge for people cycling to the event.
- CPRE Norfolk ran a successful and well-attended 'Hear From The Homeowners' question and answer session - click on the 'Activities' link for a full list of talks which took place at the event.
- More Farmers’ Market stalls than ever before.
- New practical demonstrations including a working wind turbine and even a horse logging demonstration!
- A children's quiz also took place. The winners were Katie Gibson, who won a family ticket to this year's panto at Sheringham Little Theatre, and Bethany Jonas who won a month’s family swim pass for Splash or Victory leisure centres.
