Norfolk Waste Partnership

North Norfolk District Council works together with all the other local authorities in Norfolk as part of the Norfolk Waste Partnership (NWP).  The main aim of the NWP is to reduce the amount of rubbish going to landfill and to increase the amount of waste recycled.

The Partnership also have a website http://www.recyclefornorfolk.org.uk/, which has all the latest information on events in your area, information on what can be recycled in your kerbside collections and our current campaigns.

One of our biggest campaigns this year has been the Love Food Hate Waste Campaign, which has been supported by WRAP.  If you are looking for creative recipes to help you use up your leftovers or want information on how to store food to make it last longer see www.lovefoodhatewaste.com/norfolk

The NWP also host an annual conference, as well an annual awards ceremony to celebrate the successes of Norfolk residents, community groups, schools and businesses in reducing waste.
