Up to one third of an average households waste can be composted but when this waste is sent to landfill it produces a methane gas which contributes towards global warming.

FACT! Every tonne of biodegradeable waste produces 300-500 cubic metres of landfill gas! By composting at home we can all help to reduce these effects.

Anyone can take part. You don't have to have a big garden or be a keen gardener to make compost. In fact, you can make compost using just kitchen scraps. The finished compost will make an excellent soil improver for your flower beds, vegetable plots and plant containers.

Reduced price home compost bins are now available from our nominated supplier. 

The new range of compost bins start at just £15 for a 220 litre bin or £18 for a 330 litre bin and for a limited time, you can buy one bin and get another bin HALF PRICE!  Delivery is just £5.49 per order (maximum of three bins per order).
