Fridges or Freezers

North Norfolk District Council offers a collection service for fridges and freezers. This is a pre-payment service and the charges from 1st April 2011 are detailed below (please note refunds will only be given for charges exceeding £42.48):
  • For 1 or 2 fridges/freezers £42.48

Furniture

North Norfolk District Council offers a collection service for furniture. This is a pre-payment service and a guide to the charges from 1st April 2011 is listed below (please note refunds will only be given for charges exceeding £34.75):
  • 1 to 3 items £34.75
  • 4 to 6 items £38.84
  • 7 to 9 items £52.30
  • Additional items £8.00 per item (over 9)

To make arrangements for a collection

Residents can either telephone our Customer Services Team on 0300 123 1163 to pay with a credit/debit card or alternatively, residents can post a cheque payable to Kier Services Ltd with a covering letter giving details of all the items that need collecting, along with your name, collection address and telephone number. The letter should be sent to Kier Services Ltd, Unit 6, Dunkirk, Aylsham, Norfolk, NR11 6SU.

The bulky items that require collection will need to be presented outside of the property, this usually takes place within 7 working days from the receipt of your payment. If you wish to know which of those 7 working days the collection will be made then please request an appointment.
