All food businesses must be registered with their local authority at least 28 days before they open or change ownership.

Apply for Food Hygiene Course
North Norfolk District Council provides the CIEH accredited Foundation Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering.

Food Hygiene Rating Scheme
North Norfolk District Council has introduced a 'scores on doors' scheme involving all businesses that serve open food to customers in the area. All food catering premises having a food hygiene inspection will be given a star rating to show the level of compliance with food safety legislation.
