Fly Tipping & Littering
The local authority has joint responsibilities with the Environment Agency to control the illegal tipping of waste. We will investigate all reports of fly tipping on public land. If you find evidence of who may have committed the offence of fly tipping, or have information which may lead to identifying the offender e.g. vehicle registration number or any other identifying information, please contact the Environmental Protection team on 01263 516085 or e-mail ep@north-norfolk.gov.uk.
If you wish to report items of littering or fly tipping for collection, please contact 01263 516189. Alternatively, visit the Environment & Waste home page and use the "Report It" forms.
The NNDC Environmental Health Enforcement Policy sets out principles of good enforcement and details how issues of Enforcement will be dealt with at NNDC.
The Council investigated 72% of flytipping reports within 2 working days during 2011/12, against a target of 100%.
