CROMER
THE CATHOLIC WOMENS LEAGUE is an organisation for women in the parish and meets monthly in the parish hall. It is engaged in Catholic action and in social events in the parish.
The Chairman is Barbara Sanders.
THE SOCIETY OF SAINT VINCENT DE PAUL works with the poor, lonely, sick and deprived, visiting and offering friendship and, sometimes, practical help. It meets every Tuesday in the hall.
The Chairman is Alan Shannon.
THE JULIAN PRAYER GROUP meets every other week at a home in the parish for quiet prayer and meditation.
The contact is Sarah Grant.
MINISTRY OF SERVING
We would welcome new recruits - young and older, male or female. At the moment Richard Skelton and Dennis Wise are our main servers in this part of the parish.
READERS AND MINISTERS ROTAS
The co-ordinator is Mary Mustoe-Arthur. The rotas are produced three times a year in blocks of four months. If you are away or ill, you are asked to arrange cover from among others on your rota.
MINISTRY OF MUSIC
The Choirmaster is Paul Henriksen and the Organist is Mary Henriksen.
New choir members are always welcome. The choir meets on Wednesday evenings at 7.30pm most weeks.
Mary would be happy to share the organ with any others who may be able to play with some reasonable skill.
CHILDREN'S RELIGIOUS EDUCATION
Lorraine Henriksen runs a First Holy Communion class each year when we have some youngsters of the correct age.
The Children's Liturgy is suspended at the moment for lack of volunteers to help. If you think that you could help in this way, please see Fr. Denys. All helpers in this field must now have clearance from our Child Protection Team
CHURCH FLOWERS
New helpers, male or female, are always welcome to join our team of arrangers.
MINISTRY OF WELCOME
There is always someone to welcome you in the porch and to hand out hymn books and weekly bulletins. We would welcome more assistance in this important ministry. Kennie and Bill cover the Saturday 6.0pm Mass while Peter and Jackie welcome you to Sunday 9.0am Mass.
CHURCH CLEANING
The co-ordinator is Dorothy Shannon.
We have a lovely little church, and are always looking for help to keep it clean and tidy. The more volunteers we have, the less often the task comes round!
SAFETY OFFICER
Contact Tony Webster. Please report to Tony anything which you consider a danger to parishioners or passers by.
The Accident Book is kept in the sacristy. Any accidents, however small, which happen on church property, should be reported in the Accident Book. Please contact Tony or parish clergy.
JUSTICE AND PEACE ETC.
Traidcraft Stall - Michael Dunning.
The Traidcraft stall is open in the hall after Saturday evening and Sunday 9.00am Mass. We do need to have some more voluteers to keep the stall running smoothly.
