Conditions of Use

Ceremonies can take place at the following times:

Monday to Friday, 2.00pm to 5.00pm
Saturday 2.30pm to 5.00pm

Cromer Town Council will consider bookings for other times subject to the availability of the Registrar.

Please make sure you make your arrangements with the Registrar

Superintendent Registrar at North Walsham Tel: 01692 406220, office hours Tuesday to Friday 9.30am to 12.30pm.

Visitor Numbers

Under the conditions of our marriage licence, no more than 40 visitors (including the Registrars and the Bridal Party) are allowed in the Council Chamber. Entry to the building for disabled people can be difficult. We recommend you visit North Lodge Park before confirming your booking.

Photos and Videos

These may be taken outside the building, before or after the ceremony. Permission must be obtained from the Registrar for videos during the ceremony but photographs are not allowed. You may use any part of the gardens in North Lodge Park for your photographs.

Music

A CD player is available for use but music is not provided by the Council. You may provide music but this cannot be played during the ceremony and any music played must not be of a religious nature. You are advised to check with the Registrar as to the suitablity of your choice of music.

Flowers and confetti

Two small artificial floral displays are provided by the Council. You can make your own additional arrangements concerning flowers but please let us know. Your guests may throw confetti outside the building but it is preferred if it is degradable.

Cars

The only cars permitted to park in North Lodge Park are the Bridal Couple's own vehicle and any vehicles driven by a disabled person holding an 'orange badge'. Public on-street parking is usually available in Cliff Avenue or Cliff Drive.

Council Attendant

A council attendant will be on duty and has authority to act on behalf of the responsible officer for the premises, and may give further instructions on the day.

Fees

The fee for the use of the room is £200 (parishioners of Cromer and Suffield Park will receive a £50 discount) which should be paid on or before the day. Please note that the price quoted is correct as at December 2007 and is subject to change. Cheques should be made payable to Cromer Town Council. Registrar's fees are payable directly to the Registrar. Please contact the Registrar for details of these fees.
