Tesco/Waitrose supermarket applications meeting date set
The North Norfolk District Council planning meeting to discuss the rival Tesco and Greenhouse/Waitrose retail applications for Sheringham will take place on Thursday, 4 March at 9.30am.
The meeting, which had originally been expected in January or February, was delayed after the Government announced a raft of new planning policies for economic development just after Christmas, meaning the Sheringham applications needed to be re-assessed by NNDC and its retail consultant, and the applicants themselves.
An 80-page report by planning officers detailing these applications, and making recommendations to the Combined East and West Area Development Control Committee is available from North Norfolk District Council in hard copy today and will is available by clicking here.
