Data Protection

North Norfolk District Council is committed to ensuring compliance with the Data Protection Act 1998. The Act regulates the holding and processing of personal information that relates to living individuals and which is held on computer or in some cases paper. The Council recognises the importance of personal data to its business and the importance of respecting the privacy rights of individuals.

If you want to request your own personal information, you should use the form below. Please complete the form and return it to the Data Protection Officer, there is a £10 fee payable. You will be asked to provide proof of identity, this can be a copy of your passport, driving licence, birth certificate or some other official document bearing your signature. In some cases we will also require a recent photograph of you for elimination purposes.
