Introduction
This is the sixth report by North Norfolk District Council's Overview and Scrutiny Committee. It summarises scrutiny activity up to April 2011 and highlights the Overview and Scrutiny Committee's plans and projects for the future.
Overview and Scrutiny Committee Annual Report and Guidelines
The Norfolk Scrutiny Network, of which NNDC is a member, held its third Conference at the University of East Anglia on 16 November 2007. For the County's Scrutineers the event represented an excellent opportunity to network, share experiences and ideas of Best Practice and learn. Chaired by the EDP's Shaun Lowthorpe, the conference included presentations from the Centre for Public Scrutiny, IDeA and Scrutineers from member councils. A report from the Conference gives a flavour of what is happening in Scrutiny in Norfolk as well as the developments which will be brought about by the LGPIH Act.
