Council Budget

The budget provides a financial summary of the council's planned activities for the forthcoming financial year. It gives details of the sources and the use of the funds available.

The Council is legally required to consider the equality duty in its decision making and this includes the budget process. As part of any savings or investments the Council must consider a number of issues and undertake an Equality Impact Assessment (EQIA) on any proposals to assess the potential impact on a number of protected groups.

Visit the Equality Impact Assessment page for further details on the EQIA's undertaken for the 2012/13 budget process.

The budget book is intended as a reference document for members, officers and interested members of the public.

There are hard copies of the budget book available for viewing at the Council Offices, and also at any public library in North Norfolk. It can also be downloaded below.

If you have an enquiry about the budget, please contact the Financial Services Manager.
