Gender Equality Scheme
The Equality Act 2006 requires all 'public authorities' to produce a Gender Equality Scheme, setting out how they will meet the General and Specific duty in the Act. As part of the Scheme authorities must produce a three year action plan. The Gender Equality Scheme for NNDC is available for you to view/download below in PDF format.

Race Equality Scheme
The Race Relations Amendments Act 2000 requires all 'public authorities' to produce a Race Equality Scheme, setting out how they will meet the General and Specific duty in the Act. The scheme for NNDC is available for you to view/download below.

Annual Equality Report
North Norfolk District Council has published its first Annual Equality Report, providing information about what the Council is doing to improve the accessibility of council services, improve community cohesion and bring together people from different backgrounds, increase awareness and understanding of diversity and equality issues across the council and the community as a whole, and ensure that the Council is a fair and supportive employer.
